About us

Chantlers pre-School has operated for over 20 years and is situated in a purpose built self contained building within the grounds of Chantlers Primary School. We are a registered charity and are independently run by a committee made up of parents. Parental involvement within our setting is always welcome.

Children of any age can be placed onto the waiting list and we accept children from two and half years of age. However priority is given to pre-school aged children. Further places are allocated on an 'age order' basis is dependant on availability.

We follow the EYFS Statutory Framework  for the Early Years Foundation Stage, Setting the Standards for Learning,Development and Care. We operate a key person system for all children in our care and build individual records to track a child's development.

We provide the children in our care with Child lead activities and experiences within stimulating surroundings. All the children are given opportunties to learn in a happy and caring enviroment. We also have a large enclosed secure outdoor play area.

All children in our care are respected and valued for there individuality. The given opportunitys to explore, acknowledge and value similarities and differences between them selves and others.
